  1. [...] we mentioned earlier, it’s getting quite busy over here. and now that the Apricot Team is moving in finally, it’s gonna get even more busy! Last friday we had Bart from [...]

  2. [...] Margreet Riphagen, Blender Institute producer for almost a year, accepted a great job at the Institute of Network Cultures. It’s also in Amsterdam center, so we’ll see her around regularly! Campbell Barton, Blender developer and TD and scripter, went back to his girls in Melbourne Australia. He’ll be working wrapping up Apricot remotely for a month, at least. Dariusz Dawidowski, 3D game artist and level designer, goes back today to his hometown in Poland. He’ll help wrapping up the Crystal Space game level(s) during next month. Frank Richter, Crystal Space 3D engine developer, already found another room to live in Amsterdam, he’ll keep coding on CS and is currently seeking for a game developer job in Amsterdam (know any? contact him!). 5. Thank you for all your hard work, guys! Collaboration can be very difficult. I appreciate you pulling together.

Looking forward to creating my own work, and someday working in a collaborative team on a project.

Thanks for paving the way, pioneers,

  12. Hello!
I’m on a game project, using blender, i’ve been trying to play yofrankie for about a week, to see the possibilities, but it just doesn’t seem to work on my computer. i have to put the lower resolution and shader off, i have no sound, and frankie just don’t go “into the sign”, so i cannot start any level.
would you please tell me the secret? how do you get to play it? please??
i have a mac OSX 10.4.11 (intel), i run maya without any problem and i just don’t understand why yofrankie won’t run on full resolution! (and why i cannot start the level, and why i don’t have any sound………)

  13. looks like you guys actually used my idea of (partly) sculpting the land forms to make the level look more AAA, pitty I had to be kicked from the Dev team before my proposals were taken seriously I guess Blengine can take credit for that. also did Pablo Vazquez remake the character models from the original short models or did you guys use the same ones? I also wanted to remake the character models for game dev and the team was against, seems real artist always know better and only time provides proof.

  20. Hi guys… i apologise in advance that this comment/question is not relating to the topic… Your website has been featured as one of the best uses of the Mandigo theme… i love the way you have customised it… i use Mandigo as well, supremely userfriendly… my question is How did you manage to change the borders to dark grey, as this feature is not customisable in the theme options. have you changed the style sheets?. would it be possible for you to tell me how you did this.. im sure u have have sussed that im new to programming, all the help will be much appreciated. please can you drop me an email. neateye.simpson@yahoo.co.uk TanQ for your time. Neateye

  21. Can you sell the game on Steam? Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but I want to buy the game to support the project, but I don’t want DVD (or psyical medias). And also I like having my game on Steam with all my other games.

    Best regards,
    -Erik

  22. @Cole i suppose u mean a team of one member, well if u mean so, i think its possible but u gotta learn everything by yourself from programming to modelling to animating …etc, but i think the best thing is to get some help (a team of 4 or more each member learns something that will help)

  23. Beside you remarkable command! But such specialists of high class - a rarity. Majority will work alone
